An interesting event that I will be volunteering. Basically the art event arranges the visitors to a tour to houses in Tiong Bahru where inside these houses there will be arts installation installed. Tiong Bahru as a location itself is full of heritage and recently has attracted many youngster to live in the area creating the hip society within the old folks who has lived almost forever there.

It will be on February the 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th 4-9pm. Do come down if you are interested. As tickets are limited, it is best to come early. Ticket is $15 each.

Wonder Full

Wonder Full is Marina Bay Sands‘ musical fountain. Located at the water/river side in front of the shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, in the area between LV island maison and Avalon. The show cooperating water and lights. The show that I watch in last March includes fire as well but the one that I saw yesterday there are smokes and bubbles.

Getting the best seat which is in the middle is very crucial. While I still can enjoy the show particularly the amazing bubbles from my rear seat yesterday, I was not able to catch the story well.

The show’s venue’s advantage point is the fabulous scene as the background.

brown paper gifts

I love love love gifts wrapped in brown paper and decorated here and there to beautified them.

Here are gifts that I wrapped with brown paper in the span of 2 years just for the sake of clearing up my brown colour enveopes. Yes, these mostly are using B4 envelopes that I bought too much years ago.

Wicked the musical

Wicked is the musical that my sister has been waiting ever since she read the book. The story strikes most than the other aspect of the musical. Yes, of course as expected the musical is flawless. Costumes are pretty, props definitely brought us to the different places, and lighting enhances the green Elphaba perfectly. However the story is the one that has blown me away.

The story took place Dorothy came to the land of Oz until she arrived. The show will tell you the history of the tinman, the coward Lion and the scarecrow. It is best to know the story of the Wizard of Oz before watching Wicked though. It tells about friendship between 2 witches, Glinda the good and Elphaba the wicked witch of the west. One is not always good but people always perceive her as good and likeable where the other meant good but always get misunderstood. It depicts the real life that could be unfair.

Wicked will be shown in MBS theatre until 26 February 2012. Don’t miss it!
